Wires (x12 this will be your LPT cable so make them long)Ī program to read the NAND (i used nandprob 2 you can find it HERE) Modchip (i will be using the coolrunner from team-xecuter) To perform this RGH and utilize the exploit what you will need to do is read the NAND, install the modchip, write the NAND and installing your dash board of choice (i will be using xexmenu). Usually it would do exactly that however if the single is sent when it is booting up it allows us to run unsigned code. Basically what the RGH does is send a single to the processor that tells it to reset. When I started looking for a way to hack my 360 I heard about the jtag method only to find out that my dashboard was newer then 7371, but in early September a hardware exploit was developed know as the RGH. Due to OCD, I matched color to color (had to rearrange them in the plugs), but as long as you match the proper pins on both ends, the wire color doesn't matter. If you want to hack your Xbox 360 and your dashboard version is over 7371 then the only way that you can hack it is with the reset glitch hack (RGH). I used the existing wiring, but will show both options.

We accomplish a connection by using an old cable from a spear or other Maximus addon and wiring it to the 360NandFlasher's only built in port.ġ) cut and use the existing wiring (or a spare cable)Ģ) wire directly to the back of the port so you can still use it to read/write the xbox nand I'll cover using the Xtractor first, then the CK3. Some images will be taken from other sites and documents (TX forum, 360nandflasher) since I've already updated my devices and don't want to tear all my wiring apart and such.įor both devices, you'll want to get the following files (both in the linked archive, also includes all xsvf files for RGH chip programming)Īfter downloading the file, extract everything, place nandpro wherever you want, and install Flash Magic.įirst we need to connect the 360NandFlasher to either the 360 Xtractor (both v1.2 and v2.3 will work) or the CK3 (both Pro and CK3i will work). Once devices are connected, flashing/updating instructions are the same. In the following sections you'll find connection instructions for both the Nand-X and 360NandFlasher using the 360 Xtractor and CK3 (both pro and CK3i).
